Did anyone have a similar issue when install and run imzMLConverter? I followed the instruction on https://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/~ibs/imzMLConverter/ and used the command it provides. But when I ran it on CMD, it shows "Access is denied." Any ideas?
C:\WINDOWS\system32>imzMLConverter_1.3>"java -jar -Xmx1024m imzMLConverter.jar"
Access is denied.
Few reasons of this issue are:
1)-You are running the command in C:\WINDOWS\system32> folder. Maybe the command is creating some file in the current folder.
It is not recommended to put and run and any file from C:\WINDOWS\system32>
2)-I think you are using "imzMLConverter_1.3>" as part of you command.
Solution:
Copy imzMLConverter.jar in your home folder and run java command from there.
copy imzMLConverter.jar %USERPROFILE%
cd %USERPROFILE%
or copy imzMLConverter.jar file manually in your user profile folder and run below command.
java -jar -Xmx1024m imzMLConverter.jar
Why did you use " before and after the java command ? Try
java -jar -Xmx1024m
from withn the imzMCConverter_1.3 directory. You must also be sure that a java JRE ins installed on your computer
