Impact factor vs Citation (Open access Indexing), which is better for a new researcher?

Google scholar citation/H index/High IF? Amonst these which one is most prferable for a beginner in the research journey.

Citation is better, however impact factor of a journal is a factor of individual citations of all papers within the preceding two years divided by the number of citable papers. Individual citation is a catalyst for impact factor and so be the primary and main factor for a researcher.

Going by this question, a new researcher needs to begin well regardless of the zeal to get all he wants in life at once. Good IF journal shows that he may be accessed faster and cited very well.
