I’m Modeling a Typical Ceramic with It’s Simple Pinned Boundary Conditions in Abaqus . The Ceramic Assumed to Be a Panel with Dimensions 6*1200*3600 mm . Also Wind Pressure is Applied Perpendicular to the Ceramic Face.

Please Explain Me Which Type of Element is Better for This Case? Solid or Shell Element? And Also I Need to Know the Main Advantages and Disadvantages of Mentioned Elements over Each Other ?
