With regards

I have no chemical background, because I am physicist and I do not know to using the column chromatography procedure for separation of carbon dots (with the size of about 5 nm).

Can anyone help me to prepare good column for this purpose?

I want the following parameters:

1- the particle size of silica gel

2- the size of buret

3- the height of silica gel

4- the procedure of preparing column such as how I should pure our silica gel into buret, the solution for doing this, must I heat silica gel or not and so on

5- How to add our sample to column

6- How to add eluent to column

7- and any beneficial information that help me
