As Mohammed cited, it will depend on you CFD/FEM solver choice. Some good alternatives that I already had some experience with that might help you:

- Salome-Meca: geometry modeler and mesh generator very usr friendly (suitable for FEM and CFD analysis);

- Netgen: tetrahedral mesh generator (in my opinion suitable for FEM analysis because I couldn't get a boundary layer refinement easily for CFD)

- snappyHexMesh: generic polyhedral mesh generator with boundary layer refinement, an excellent choice to use with OpenFOAM.

Very interesting open source Mesh tools, all are adapted for space dimensionality N less or equal than 3 none of them can be used to higher space dimensionality N=4 or 5?.

Sorry for the late feed-back.

Very interesting your question. As far as I know these utilities only generate 2 and 3 dimensional meshes commonly used for traditional methods such as the Finite Volume and Finite Element Methods.

However it worth to investigate if their capabilities can go beyond that (Salome-Meca for example have a lot of extensions that can be add to it to improve it).
