MXene will be used to describe any substance that contains it. Although it can be mentioned when referring to the substance as, for example, Al-MXene, the presence of trace amounts of aluminum or any other element may alter the properties of MXene. so you can describe it as ''Al-Residual MXene''
Most SEM holders for specimens are made of Al. If your specimen too thin, or X-ray acquisition was performed close to the edge, you can pick up Al characteristic radiation. You may want to check if it was the case.
If there is a small content of aluminum (Al) in the MXene, it is still considered a MXene since it retains the layered structure of MAX phases and is produced by etching MAX phases with selective etchants. However, it can be referred to as an Al-doped MXene or Al-containing MXene to distinguish it from the typical MXenes that do not contain Al.
It is totally normal to have a small content of Al in the MXene structure after the etching. However, it might affect the properties. Check this paper on multilayered MXenes application as a SERS substrate:
