Recently I have attended a conference, even I have been awarded 2nd winner for the poster presentation. The organizing committee will publish the abstract under a journal. So, the full-length paper can publish later in any other journal? Is there any problem with only abstract publication? Please share your expert opinion. Thank you in advance for your sharings.

Some conferences only publish the ABSTRACT, while some other conferences will publish the abstract for free in the book of abstract and charge additional fee if such paper is to be published in their journals, however, this is dependent on the decision of the researcher. One is allowed to publish with another publisher if you don't want to publish with the conference organizer. Besides, not all conference organizers has journals for publication. I hope that helps
