If it is possible to use 96-wells microplate for xylanase and cellulase activity?

I want to determined xylanase and cellulase activity in rumen fluid and commercial exogenous enzymes, I would like to know if it is possible I use 96-well microplates? Because less chemical materials are needed in this method.
