Hello, distinguished professors.

I hope you can help me accurately answer my question.

If any researcher published a study in a journal some time ago,

but through continuous research and experimentation, the researcher learned of a note or number mentioned (by him or other researchers with him in the same research paper) that the number mentioned was incorrect, or a piece of information or line

that I now conclude is contrary ?

How is this communicated or clarified to every reader or researcher so that they do not make a mistake (for the sake of academic integrity), given that the writer (or the researchers) concluded this or obtained this information after publication? Does it remain as it is and the majority make mistakes (wasting time and materials and lacking trust in this researcher, the journal, or the publishing house)?

Or is it possible to contact the journal and include this note at the end of the study?

I hope you can help. May God grant you success.

With my sincere thanks and appreciation .

Iman
