Normally i am following to prepare GO from the Modified Hummers Method. After the preparation of GO, I extend my research to synthesis GQDs from GO by hydrothermal method using ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. After the hydrothermal treatment i washed several times using deionized water and finally to got the black suspension. If any possibility to got the GQDs in the powder form?
Actually .John...you may try the decantation process of your sample with the help of various organic solvents.But in this case powder quantity would be less...
Exactly, I already try to got GQDs in the powder form. But the amount will be very very less.
If you want to get more yield means you should do the same procedure but with large amount of liquid GQDs, which would be more difficult ....!!!
If you have promblem in characterization with this small quantity of powder means let us know...?
Actually,..John powder obtained after the decantation is more than enough to do the charecterization ... !
