I am wondering whether the blood pressure that the heart can deliver is dictated by the viability of the heart tissue, or is the pumping intensity controlled by the brain?
The heart beat should be controlled by the sympathetic and parasympathetic balance of the recipient.
By the same token, if you transplant from old to young patient, will the heart perform adequately to sustain the blood pressure of a young individual?
Power? Wavelength? Circular vs Elliptical beam? I know that there are fluorophore considerations, but isn't there a range of different fluorophores available at different wavelengths?
