Dear All,

After plenty of assessments and analysis of my experiment, i found 2 SSR markers (flanking markers) on the same chromosome. The same marker for my BSA (F2 pooled DNA of 5 plants as susceptible and resistant) showed exact amplification bands as their parents. Below I attached my gel picture, however, not exact band patterns when i applied for F2 individuals as they did not match with their respected parental bands. Did we miss or neglect during scoring disease for individuals or is it DNA to suspect? I am sure, we did everything very carefully from the beginning of our experiment.

Any experts who worked on the same research area? Would appreciate any opinions or suggestions..

Thank you in advance
