I have different ions and complexes formed at elevated temperature and would like to know about their stability constant at that temperature, can anybody help me to know that please?
Thanks@ Ahmed Hasham for your answer, and would like to thank you for uploading the paper as I’m trying to dig into all the needed information in this topic. It was helpful to have a better understanding about the conditions of my bath.
I tried to work on Hyss software but the problem is that I do not know how to define all the parameters and how to input the stability constant at the needed temperature , which is 80 degree centigrade in this study.
Dear Professor Jean-François Gal Thanks for highlighting these points,
I'm working on Aqueous baths with different metals ions and ligands. The working temperature are in the range of 25 - 80 degree centigrade, which is the temperature that the reactions happened (I assume).
not all the speciation are known in the bath. Can you please specify what's the thermodynamic of the reaction information?
The basic thermodynamic for an equilibrium is the Gibbs (free) energy directly related to K. If you have the enthalpy and entropy, you can calculate the Gibbs energy at any T, which can be evaluated from enthalpies and entropies of formation in tables, if available. But in your case you don't know all the species involved I have no simple solution.
