I am currently working on the load balancing algorithm where distribution of load depends on the current time and load on all systems. Now i want to perform comparison with current available algorithms. Please suggest me some simulator where this type of simulation is possible.
Is it opensource? on their site is it only showing option to purchase there is no direct link available to download it.
it is depended to environment that you want to perform your algorithms, for example in Cloud environment cloudSim is a good tool, if it doesn't have any differences for you, Arena is a good choice
Along with Arena, assuming you are in the manufacturing domain, or even in another domain,, you can use Promodel with variables and functions which select the entities' routing according to the load balancing algorithm alternative you use. The variables and functions track the utilization of your servers. Good luck!
