I want to model the sediment distribution in the river, morphology changes and sediments discharge rate from an individual control volume. I know the SSIIM program is good in sediment simulation and flows and on the other hand, the OpenFOAM program has many more turbulence model than SSIIM.
I want to know, whats your suggestion about these to model with and do you have a better idea?
Pooyan, I would suggest the Delft3D software package (open source)

I recommend you to use flow_3D. It can simulate sediment distribution in the river. It is easy to learn. It have 4 turbulence models.prandtle mixing length , k-e , RNG k-e and LES. you can search about this in articles.
