PEEK is quite resistant to organic solvents. You have to use acid digestion (for example with H2SO4) followed by solution casting or spray coating method to achieve a thin film.

Additionally, may be you could find useful the elegant approach followed by Aristizábal et al, where they created a soluble PEEK precursor, which can be dissolved in a mixture of tetrahydrofuran and N,N-dimethylacetamide to make a membrane and then transform the precursor to PEEK with a water acidic solution.
