Sir I want to design a drug which can inhibit the Glycoprotein D which help the virus to attach to the host cell. I want to inhibit this protein. How to do that??

You use either structure based drug design or ligand based. In any case you will require protein structure of good resolution. Use insilico docking tools and also molecular dynamics simulation. I am only talking of insilico approach will require wet lab validation later
