I want to buy an automated cell counter for mammalian cells. Few are available.Does anyone has first hand experience of which one is the best? The portable one would be ideal
we have in the lab a NanoEntek automated counter called Eve. it is nice working and easy to operate but it is not portable. it is also used with disposable plastic slides that can be used a few times before being discarded. but cells to be counted should be first mixed with trypan blue in a 1:1 ratio so the device can count the live and dead cells and calculate the viability
