I need the determination of nitrotyrosine concentrations in arotic homogened by ELISA but I have not protein standard .What will I do? and I can comparison the nitrotyrosine concentrations with control group ?

(IF I can i need paper reference.)

You could use a homemade nitrated protein as reference: Treat an aqueous solution with an excess of diluted nitric acid (10..30% final) until the colour does not change , then neutralize and dialyze or purify by gel filtration or simply precipitation with EtOH. If you have access to MS, you easily may characterize the extent of nitration.
