Am not really sure whether I correctly understand your question or not, however, assuming that you have discharge data (m3.s-1) from a logger that record at hourly basis (i.e. 24 data points/day), the mean daily discharge (m3.s-1) can be estimated by adding up all the 24 data points and then divided by 24. It is pretty straightforward!. The most challenging task in this issue is to generate hourly discharge data from the daily-basis data.
