The project involves the etching of optical fiber cable to make one of its end to be sharp. Then by the phenomena of optical trapping attach a nanodiamond with Nitrogen-vacancy center to the tip. I have to study the effect of passing laser through this cable when nanodimaond is attached to it in COMSOL. Can anyone help me guide through the steps on how to perform such simulation?
Thank You Anshul Yadav for your steady reply. However, this modelling(link you attached) deals with the heat interaction when laser is passed through the material whereas I need to study the electric field flow through the nanomaterial when it is attached to the tip of optical cable.
Is there any way to perform such simulation?
I tried doing the simulation for Wave optics module in "wavelength domain" but I having trouble in designing the Nanodiamond and its geometry. Also, it is difficult to study the electric field flow through that geometry.
Is there any possible way to design nanodimaond in COMSOL?
