I love them. They are very deep and very inspiring.
Each color lives by its mysterious life.
Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul.
Color is a power which directly influences the soul.
Color provokes a psychic vibration. Color hides a power still unknown but real, which acts on every part of the human body.
The sound of colors is so definite that it would be hard to find anyone who would express bright yellow with base notes, or dark lake with the treble.
I regularly cite David Kranz’s papers in the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.
They are respectively:- ‘Color measurement and color theory: I. Representation theorem for Grassmann structures’ Journal of Mathematical Psychology Volume 12, Issue 3, August 1975, Pages 283-303
And Pt 2
‘Opponent Colors theory’ pp 304 – 327.
In these papers Krantz establishes what he calls ‘Grassmann’s Laws of additive colour mixture’ and the additive and scalar properties of what he calls ‘Grassmann Structures’.
Basically, Krantz shows that the colour sense may be modelled as a strictly proportionate and linearly additive response to the physical stimulus of visible light, regardless of its Hue Chroma or intensity.
Dear Obed, search for your required journal using the title and abstract of your work and you will get your journal of choice. Goodluck as you do that.
