I have heard that LNCaP cells are not stable after several passages. Is there any reference to that?

I have heard that LNCaP cells are not stable after several passages, unlike other cancer cell lines. I wonder if anyone has ever published an article about it. We have found that LNCaP cells have very short telomeres and that may be a reason why they are unstable.
