Using rainfall data i have done the IDW Interpolation its cell size showing a x, y = 0.0039291792, 0.0039291792. degree.
To get the cell size 30 meter have projected the output raster.Its properties it showing 30 meter correctly.
But when we measure the cell size using measure too in arc gis it showing 390 meter.
I want it in 30 meter.
Can any body help me to do this please.

yes I think the re-sampling technique should solve the issue of the pixel size.
You can refine the procedure by tuning the settings in ENVIRONMENT.

Dear Safwan, you have to understand that the real question is whether you can interpolate on such a high resolution grid. There is no reason to interpolate points below the minimum distance that is separating your observations if you don't have any information about the spatial correlation of the modeled variable (here rainfall) at such scale. Hence, you should first check on the spatial correlation of the data, interpolate your data with the correct weight on a grid with cells that are least as large as the minimum distance between the nearest stations and then only resample your results on a 30 m grid.

IDW (as a method) does not incorporate the resolution of the data at all, if you are using pixel data (non-point support) then the resulting interpolated values pertain to the same size pixels as that of the data. Since you are using ARC GIS software you have to look at exaclty how ESRI implements the algorithm. IDW does not provide a way to obtain interpolated values for a different pixel size (different than that of the data). Note that IDW is just a heuristic method, it is not based on any theory or statistical assumptions. You would be better off using one of the forms of kriging or cokriging.which are based on statistical assumptions and the equations to determine the coefficients in the interpolator are derived and not just heuristic. Are all the data locations at the same elevation, if not you need to incorporate the elevation differences and IDW does not provide a way to do this.
