Lets see.... The concentrations in ICP is the concentration measured in the solution.
0.5 ppb means 0.5ug/L
If you used 1g of sample and the final volume of solution that you had measured at ICP was 50mL then you should perform a multiplication of the solution concentration by the volume of the solution (in liters) and divide by the sample mass in grams.
Concentration in ug/g = (ug/L)*(L)/(g)
Concentration in ug/g = 0.5*0.05*1 = 0.025ug/g = 25ng/g
Dear Heba Hathout , in most research papers, I found that they are reporting metal ion release in "microgram/cm2' instead of pbb. But, results which was measured through ICP-MS, in pbb. Can you help me how to relate pbb to "microgram/cm2
