i am comparing the results of various bracing system for industrial structure.
while i analysing the structure with X and diagonal bracing it shows less lateral deflection 7-18 mm and 4.73-8.95 mm under various seismic zone.
but in case of K bracing and V bracing it shows large value around 2000mm and lots of instability at joint how do i solve it and whats the reason.
what should i do for getting small displacement
It appears that your K-frames are imposing a lot of weak-axis bending in the columns. A better scheme might be to use adjacent K-framed bays with the K reversed in one of the bays so that you have, in effect, 2 K's which form a 2-bay X. This would use the same amount of steel, but would eliminate the large deflection and severe weak-axis column bending.

I agree with my colleagues above.You might also try N type connections, use N in one bay, then reverse it in the next. Worth trying as it is cheaper than using K or X (less material and welding).
