I am using hydrogen peroxide as an activator, but it does not work after 24 hours.

I am preparing a PPD-based dye. When I add hydrogen peroxide to the solution, it gives it a black color. but after 24 hours, it's not working. What is the reason for it fading, and what are the alternatives to stablize it?
