1. The HRSG is vertical and has 13 heat exchangers.
2. The Problem I am facing are as follows:
a. The control logics for Aspen Dynamics (I have put the controllers for levels of three drums by manipulating input to the drums
Finally, I want the help on :
1. Inputs to other control logics involved in a typical HRSG
2. Simulation on startup/ shutdown of a typical HRSG.

Do you think you have numerical simulation issues or do you have trouble getting your proces thermodynamically run ? Both could occur. Steam massflow is almost 0 at the beginning, this is challenging for heat exchanger simulation, especially when you have 13.
Which tool do you ise ? I created an own comlex SW for simulation...

Dear Andreas Gotter, Thank you for your reply. My error is because of numerical issues (As a thermodynamic and engineering problem reflects at the very initial moment when the simulation gets transformed from steady-state to dynamics in Aspen Plus). The numerical problem would be there surely.
As I said above, I am using Aspen Plus Dynamics.
