You can define the impact load as a velocity for the impactor which is more accurate than defining an amplitude. However, using the amplitude option is also possible ti simulate the impact. In your case and if you only have (force-time) than you have to introduce the impact as an amplitude.
Defining amplitude may not be required. You can simply define the impact velocity using predefined field option. You may have given either velocity or energy. If energy is given, make a small calculation from the base of kinetic energy formulation (0.5*m*v^2) and find velocity. Where m=mass and v = velocity. Therefore, using the calculated velocity and mass of impactor defined at mass center you can get the required impact energy.
