I am quite confused about calculation of copy number for my samples. My sample input was 2 uL in 10 uL qPCR reaction. However, only 1 uL of serial diluted standards were added in the assay. Based on the slope and intercept of the standard curve, I calculated copies/uL. However, since I added 2uL of samples, do I have to divide the cp# obtained by 2 to get cps/uL?
