G100 is designed for quite large MW and saline 500mM is injected to get a suitable conduictivity marker to separation end total volume. a phosphate buffer 20mM pH 7 and 150 mM NaCl can be a general use buffer. Often G10 is used for oligos. https://www.gelifesciences.com/gehcls_images/GELS/Related%20Content/Files/1314807262343/litdoc18102218_20141208003707.pdf
agree with the conditions that GB stated above and you may need to test different matrices depending on the size of your oligosaccharide, to get good separation.
We have always used BioGel P-2 or P-4 for small oligosaccharides in the range of disaccharides to hexasaccharides. As the other experts have noted, your choice of matrix will depend on the size range of interest. For elution, since we work with neutral saccharides and wish to recover them by lyophilization, we simply use water.
