For my masters thesis I will be shortly undertaking a number of in depth interviews relating to carbon offsetting. If you know anyone who is in the carbon offsetting space with a speciality in Nature Based Solutions (NBS); i'd appreciate it if you could forward their details. These could be academics, consultants or involved with start-ups. Ultimately, the more variety the better as it will allow me to gain a more holistic view. I am trying to get an in-depth understanding as to why this area lacks the investment it deserves and needs. I hope that once the barriers are fully understood, solutions can be put forward and thus this area can develop to its full potential.
Having already conducted a thorough literature review, it is evident this area deserves more attention at the local, regional and international level, especially in the global north such as in the UK.
