you can look at SHRM Foundation (http://www.shrm.org/about/foundation/research/pages/applyforgrant.aspx )
and also at Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) in the framework of Horizon 2020 (a European Comission Programme): http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/about-msca/actions/rise/index_en.htm
I am also working on work-family interface (in Portugal) and if you would be interested to do some joint research, it would be fantastic.
There is an international collaboration program by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). We can plan on the proposal and apply the fund in the Spring 2016. The module of the program is 2+4. That is, our grant will be supported first for two years, then be evaluated by a committee about our research outcomes, and if performance is satisfactory, finally be supported for another four years. The amount of the grant for the first two years is 200000RMB (approximately 33 thousand USD). Are you interested in this grant? If so, we could apply together a funding for the next year. Would highly appreciate if you could consider it. Thanks!
The details of the NSFC program is available on line (but in Chinese): http://www.nsfc.gov.cn/nsfc/cen/xmzn/2015xmzn/13/index.html
Within the European context you can check Horizon 2020 program as it is, probably, the best option.
We have working over the last years, in the University of Porto, in work-life issues and we currently have some small scale national funded research projects going on. Let me know if you would like to have more details.
