I am having issue in doing End of Life modelling of LCA of solar PVS in Simapro. Can anybody help regarding this?

I am doing LCA of solar PVS in Simapro using the inventory data from IEA PVPS 2020. I have entered the unit processes in Simapro starting from Metallurgical grade silicon to Photovoltaic Module. However the units of Wafer, cell and photovoltaic module are in metre square and Simapro shows an assembly has a non mass unit and therefore can not be processed. However I have seen research papers using the same data and publishing results. I want to know how I can overcome this issue?
