I have been trying to dissolve my drug- dihydroartemisinin- in various solvents. It is soluble in absolute alcohol, acetone as well as DMSO. But as I need to give in vivo injections of it, I have to dilute it with aqueous solvents like PBS. As soon as I add PBS, DHA precipitates out. I have also tried to solubilize it in olive oil as well as groundnut oil, but have achieved no success. My experimental mice are getting older now and I am stuck at this step. Can anyone help me with it? Thank you..
if you try to solubilize with pure EtOH, after that add PBS and then evaporate EtOH? If does not work, you might need some surfactants, as soy lecitin.
I'm not from your area, so, I don't know the consequences of using this approach for your mice.

There is two way first of all dissolved your drug. (1) Use a minimum quantity of alcohol (EtOH) checks that it should permissible for mice after that add aqueous media to make up your desired concentration. (2) Add different surfactants like SLS, tween 80 or bile salts which are natural surfactants in your diluent and dissolve your drug in that media.
