I am conducting a meta-analysis. The systematic review resulted in 5 eligible studies; of them, one study included a pooled analysis of 14 cohorts that were not published before. Is it possible to consider the pooled analysis as one study and combine it with the remaining studies as usual?
you can take permission from the authors and can announcing that these studies not published yet and write from where you have known them, for example not all Arabic board researches published
I think it is possible to use unpublished studies as appropriate in meta-analysis.
Unpublished work can be included, but probably not in this case as the unpublished work in not primary work, and rather a pooling of data. Hope this helps
There is no harm to include unpublished studies or grey literature in meta-analysis. But in this case, as one of the studies is 'just pooling' of other studies which are unpublished and as the pooling of data provides an overall summary of subgroup data or data from other related studies without weighing. This pooling of unpublished studies may lead to counterintuitive results.

@Ahmed Arafa...You can include 4 other studies for meta-analysis. And, make a comparison with the study having pooled prevalence. This could be an option.
