kindly help me to figure out whether i can add food color or something else to know that the matrigel is in the required channel..?
the thawed product color is red-pink but the vialed material is clear which hinders to know whether the matrigel stays in the middle channel or not?

Yes, you should not have any issues with adding food dye to Matrigel- I am sure I have seen this combination in literature before.
If you have a microscope with a camera attached, it may be possible just to record the propagation of the fluid front as it travels along the channel.
Another option is to add collagen, fibronectin or gelatin labelled with fluorescein isothiocyanate.
