If you want to analyze available (Free amino acids) extract the sample with ethanol. If you want total amino acids, digest the sample with 6N hydrochloric acid at 110 C for 20-22 hours in a sealed tube flushed with nitrogen gas.

no, There is forms for amino acids: free amino acids the most common (DFAA) and combined form (DCAA) and this is different from peptides. you can google it but what I am asking for how to analyze it, a reliable method.
