Managing keloids is a challenging task, especially when it is at an exposed skin surface. Surgical removal, steroids, lasers and cryotherapy are among the advocated treatment methods. Out of these, steroids are most commonly used, either alone or in combination with others. Hypo/hyperpigmentation might ensue.
