Hypertrophy and metabolic stress. Should (could) skeletal muscle contain less buffers for metabolic stress, to inflict more hypertrophy?

For instance H+ can be buffered by carnosine.

-Would resistance training with focus on hypertrophy not have less ingestion of "buffers" or potential "buffers" to increase potential of metabolic stress and super compensation?

-This in relation to weight lifting in which "buffers" can assist in more contraction and power output?
