Foods is both poison or medicine and there really are no neutral foods. Refined carbohydrates and processed foods filled with sugar causes depression of the immune system and massive inflammation which leads to chronic disease like hypercholesterolemia. High quality protein, essential fatty acids and photochemical found in whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, legumes and certain high quality animal proteins build cells right so they function optimally, the body makes anti inflammatory compounds and actually prevent the development of disease.
At the moment I find no relationship between fibromyalgia and hypercholesterolemia, but if I have identified patients with joint and muscle pain associated with vascular complications and the peripheral nervous system (ischemia and neuritis)

cardiovascular risk factors, and with these cholesterol values, may be increased in many autoimmune diseases. steroidal therapy may induce changes in lipid metabolism , and be a cause. Also life style changes due to chronic pain , such as an increased sedentariety, can contribute. i don't know if there are specific disease risk factors that could cause hypercholesterolemia.
