How would you authenticate Drosophila strains for a grant application?

Are there any Drosophila researchers out there who have come to grips with the new NIH "Authentication of Key Resources Plan"? How would you propose to authenticate all the different Drosophila strains, obtained from Bloomington and elsewhere, that you use in a grant application?
