I want to propose a farmer a four year rice planting strategy, in which organic methods are going to be used in order to increase harvest, soil fertility, and soil carbon. It would be great if any researchers may give me some tips in this case.
This is a topic I'm working right now as well. The theme of my bachelor's degree diploma project is using cyanobacterial inoculation in rice paddies as a nitrogen bio-fertilizer.

First of all, a soil test should be done on the target land. Since rice likes light soils better than heavy soils, soil organic matter determines rice productivity. To plant and grow rice organically, integrated management is needed.
