Is Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. punicae reported from your country?
In India some bioconrol agents are used but these are in lab only we have to do more research on resistant cultivars through R-gene approach.

Using Hydrogen Peroxide can really help you control. It needs to be sprayed at around 1mM strength.

Antibiotics use to control of Xap generally. But these antibiotics are fiorbidden in Turkey. I need new biocontrol agents. I want to more information about R-gene . We make hydrogen peroxide (food grade) and peroxyacid based broad spectrum bactericide-fungicide-viricides. At very low concentrations, these combinations can be sprayed on the plants (leaves/fruits/stem). It can also be used for pretreatment of the the seeds.

Serap, we have good results with new agent - Zerebra Agro (silver+polimer). It is registered in Russia as plant growth regulator, but has high efficency against all bacteria except Pseudomonads.

We are working on biocontrol bacterial blight last three years. We have realized that only way to control blight is by perfect orchard management. never use antibiotics to control the blight as it reduces the immunity of the plant. Do not allow dry leaves to accumulate on the ground. observe the plant thoroughly and remove all old infection marks and apply Bordeaux mixture. You can also apply Trichoderma and pseudomonas mixture that is available in your country as biopesticide. For us both gave very good result. There are reports of effectiveness of copper nanoparticles and similarly we got better result with CuSO4 also. However, I recommend perfect orchard practice.

You are right. Biopesticides (such as Trichoderma and Pseudomonas mixture) is legal and available in my country. Thanks a lot. I'll try it.
Xap was found my country and first reported by us at a garden. (at publication stage). Generally; In my country, copper preparations and bordeaux mixture are used for bacterial diseases. For bacterial blight, no licenced drugs and control method. This preparations, only when supported fungal preparations, we have realized that it is less effective.
If it's a recent establishment in Turkey and the geographical distribution is limited, then eradication would be an option to be considered
