We are working on pharmacology of certain poison in-vivo as well as in-vitro. Can somebody please provide me with a few articles about this real time analysis of tissue n cell behavior for my study.
It depends on what are the observables that you seek to monitor. To the best of my know-how I do not think that there is a reliable methodology to monitor the sum total of all the reactions, or their perturbation by an externally administered agent, to get a system's perspective of drug action on a tissue type or organism. However, if you know a specific protein/group of proteins or metabolite/group of metabolites whose levels you would like to track as a function of an administered drug, there are several reliable methodologies. Imaging mass-spectrometry is one such technique details about which can be found in this paper http://www.nature.com/nm/journal/v7/n4/full/nm0401_493.html.
Others techniques include, but are not limited to, metabolite tracking by mass-spectrometry, microarray methodology to see perturbation in expression of genes, live cell imaging with tagged proteins, radio tracer techniques etc.
