India is having large livestock population and livestock contributes more than 25 % GHGs which is responsible for climate change. So as a scientist our responsibility to reduce GHGs from livestock by adopting different strategies so that farmer can easily adopt technique. Pl focus on our indigenous and traditional technique
One major change that can be possibly implemented is to use better quality feeds; especially for ruminants. The enteric fermentation of ruminants produces a huge amount of methane gas. Therefore the focus should be placed on providing efficient, sustainable diets for these animals. An improved diet would An efficient diet is one that is easily digestible by the animals, as digestibility affects enteric fermentation.They should be fed with better forage (low % of lignin) and also be provided with concentrate.
That is quite easy: Reduce the livestock and do not feed mash, that indirectly causes land-use changes and so GHGs. Just use green fodder. Best way is fodder from pastures with limited livestock-densities, supporting C-sequestration in soil.

Increase in digestible organic matter availability at duodenal level. Improving bio-availability of nutrients to the host animals. Increasing the availability of greens and pastures round the year. Increasing population of more number of productive animals (herd improvement) through selection of better animals and culling less productive animals.
