I have synthesized gold nanoparticle and want to conjugate Phosphorothioate oligonucleotides sequences on the surface of GNPs in the next step. In fact, all surfaces of GNPs will cover through Phosphorothioate oligonucleotides sequences. I want to know that how can I immobilize these functionalized gold nanoparticles on glass slide to monitoring them under fluorescence microscopy?
There are a lot of functionalized silanes suitable to modify glass surface for coupling with other materials. Take a look at the Gelest website. They have a lot of guidelines for choosing proper reagent.

They have silanes with thiol functionality which should work for gold-to-glass coupling.

I saw a paper which explain that we can dispense
functionalized gold nanoparticles onto the glass slide and immediately after drying on the slide, we should re-immersed them in buffer solutions.
authors said that a few rounds of washing steps led to remove free standing switches and when re-immersed in solution, functionalized gold nanoparticles permanently attached to the glass surface.
this method did not use any reagent to immobilized and is very easy.
