As we are investing money in research, only fruitful research is able to generate money And loop completed. but most of us investing money on research but only for publishing paper.no income generation.
Being a researchers I wish to know how to address this issue.
research study is a scientific way to improve or develop new methods of our needs.Research are important because they contribute to knowledge and progress of various fields like pharmaceutical, medical health, information technology, power generation, food , business, transport, various cast effective techniques, environment, and many many more. Purpose , Quality and application of Research should be given more importance.
Fruitful research means that the research has already been completed. What about new research ideas?
Most extremely successful companies (not even mentioning government) invest piles of money in research and development knowing full well that most of the ideas will lead nowhere. There is always the occasional gem that turns a profit but most of the ideas end up on the shelf, only to be pulled out later, often to solve a completely different problem from their original intent. The cycle may not even be completed in our lifetime but we must remain optimistic and continue researching nonetheless.
There must be a differentiation between pure research and applied research. Applied research can be patented and can be utilized for societal application. But pure research are for improving the understanding of certain process. Such research can not be of immediate use. However it may be useful after some time and one has to look for the positive outcome. Important point is that one must choose problems in applied research such that it is important for societal application. Deciding exact problem and working patiently in that field with strict monitoring till the goal is achieved, is important.
Any research work, if properly recognized, can generate money. It may be both theoretical and experimental types.
Artistic research works on various linguistic advancement activities may also be commercialized in varied pleasant forms of socio-economic value. There exist diversified examples in this context.
I strongly believe that the money spent for the research definitely useful in terms of publication and also generating consultancy fund. Many researchers after their finding starts learning money. But, to achieve that kind of research a proper planning in initial stage itself is very very important. For example if you want to develop a new machine alternate to the existing then, it is worth to learn something in terms of paper and money spent for the research is taken back. Or if you think something like new design addressed to the structural or geotechnical related problems, then you will get paper and also make money through consultancy. So, to achieve the complete cycle is primarily depends a very good planning that planning need to be addressed end of your goal which includes publication and money making research..ok all the best..
