Hello every one,
i have this configuration of my hybrid plant to produce heat. The PV is used to increase the temperature of HTF to 565°C, via an electrical Heater (EH). I have the annual electric energy of PV and the annual thermal energy of CSP, and i want to calculate the Hybrid plant annual energy production to calculate the LCOE and PV? in both case with one tank thermal storage and without?

Abstract:
Integration concept of energy resources can complement between the competing energy technologies. This manuscript presents a comprehensive review on the state-of-the-art of concentrated solar power (CSP) integration technology with various energy sources. Compared to CSP alone, integration of CSP and fossil
fuel provides promising solution to solar energy intermittence, emissions and installation cost reduction, with 25% increase in electric power generation. On the other hand, integration of CSP with other sources such as geothermal and biomass can supply dispatchable power with almost zero emissions. The electricity
produced via integrated CSP and photovoltaic (PV) has better power quality and less cost compared to that produced by PV alone or CSP alone, respectively. Integration of CSP and wind energy can meet peak demand,
reduce power fluctuation and provide electrical power at a high capacity factor. However, the lack of reliable biomass, geothermal and wind data with the solar availability at specific locations is the main obstacle for the acceptance and further deployment of hybridization systems. The advantages and limitations of the hybrid
technologies presented in this paper according to the literature are reviewed. Moreover, future directions of CSP such as production of hydrogen, solid particles receivers and the integration of supercritical carbon dioxide cycle are also discussed.

The analysis for a solar plant located in Ouarzazate using a model simulated is well presented. Orientations angle, solar multiple, thermal storage size, and fraction of hybridization are considered the principal design parameters; the objective is to study their effect on the PV, CSP, and PV-CSP plants in terms of cost and energy production. The findings are as follows:
(i) The orientation angle of PV panels highly influences the annual energy and the LCOE. The south orientation and a tilt angle around 30° are the optimal orientation to maximize the annual energy and minimize the LCOE for Ouarzazate city
(ii) The strength of CSP over other renewable energy technologies is the TES system that has an utmost impact on CSP plant performance; the profitability of CSP increases by increasing the TES size
(iii) The choice of TES and solar multiple is relatively linked; per each value of solar multiple, a TES interval is the most adequate in terms of the annual energy cost ratio
(iv) The combination of a PV and a CSP plant provides a dispatching energy with a lower LCOE than the CSP alone
(v) The hybridization fraction highly influences the performance of the PV-CSP hybrid plant. The increase of PV share results a huge reduction in the LCOE, contrary to an increase of CSP share which leads to an enormous increase in annual energy for the same capacity installed
The location of Ouarzazate has an excellent potential in terms of solar resources. The implementation of optimal configuration of the PV-CSP hybrid plant is a viable solution than the CSP alone. It will not only have an immense benefit to Morocco’s economy but it will also be a huge new step to an ecofriendly community.
