I'm working on a cost model to find optimum utilization rate and idle time for Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs). I would like to know how utilization rates and day rates are interrelated in OSV market. Fo say, if I increase my utilization by X%, how much it will effect my day rates and impact on my revenue Any sample cost models for the OSV provided are highly appreciated?
